Once upon a time I was an engineer in the keypunch card era, had a bunch of senior management jobs, was an adjunct marketing professor, and then ran a consulting practice — until I retired (from work, not life!).
At this point, I'm trying to polish the qualities that endure: compassion, wisdom, gratitude, humor, courage, and love.
Over the years I've written eight books and hundreds of magazine columns and essays. Four books on Buddhism, personal growth, and life wisdom are available free online — no sign-up, no cost. I also wrote four books on government contracting, available at CelerityWorks.com.
I have two amazing daughters, a great son-in-law, and grandkids who remind me why hope matters. I live with my bride of 56 years on a lovely island in the Pacific Northwest.
When I'm not writing, you'll find me at the keyboard playing the blues, walking with the love of my life, editing one of my short music and narrated videos, or manipulating images in Photoshop.
